Services for James Espinoza, 67, of Temple, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 28, at St. Luke's Catholic Church with Father James Ekeocha officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mr. Espinoza passed away Wednesday, April 25, at a local hospital.
James Espinoza was born July 28, 1950 in Austin, Texas to Vincent Espinoza, Sr. and Ramona Lopez Espinoza. He was a forklift operator for Coca-Cola many years ago and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Ramona; brothers, Vincent Espinoza, Jr. and Jerry Lee Espinoza; and by a sister, Yolanda Bektes.
He is survived by two daughters, Mary Lucy Santillan and Josie Hernandez; a brother, Ray Espinoza, Sr.; three sisters, Alice Ortiz, Sylvia Martinez, and Lisa Rodriguez; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 - 7 p.m. Friday, April 27 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel in Temple. Recitation of Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m.
