Memorial Services for Jacqueline Mary Hughes. 84, of Temple will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday May 6, at Heights Baptist Church with Brother Billy officiating.
Jacqueline M. Hughes died on Monday, April, 24, 2017 at her residence.
Jacqueline Mary Hughes was born on April 25, 1932 Mr. John Hugo Duffner and Mrs. Mary Blach Caldwell- Duffner in Sacramento, California. She married John W. Hughes. She moved to Temple in 1976 and retired from Veterans Affairs. She enjoyed playing the piano, traveling, watching plays and ballets. She was a member of the CAC in Temple. She collected Sea turtle figurines. She was a member of the Golden Choir of Heights Baptist.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John W. Hughes, son, David John Hughes; brother, William Duffner.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Wyatt Hughes and wife Kathleen, Edward Lee Hughes; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held before the service at the church from 10:00 - 11:00 am
