Isabelle Aurora
Guillen
August 4, 1957 – May 27, 2026
Isabelle Aurora Guillen, of Temple, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. She was 68 years old. Isabelle was born on August 4, 1957, in Caldwell, Texas, to John and Janie Jimenez (Mendez).
Isabelle was a proud graduate of Temple High School and dedicated 35 years of service to ER Carpenter before retiring. During her career, she built many lifelong friendships and was deeply valued by her coworkers.
She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, attending bingo games, and watching her beloved grandchildren grow. Isabelle had a special gift for making everyone feel like family. She treated countless children as if they were her own grandchildren, welcoming them with open arms and unconditional love.
A devoted sports fan, Isabelle enjoyed cheering on her favorite teams, including the Texas Rangers, Temple Wildcats, and Dallas Cowboys. Affectionately known as “Nana” by many—even those not related to her—she touched countless lives with her warmth and kindness.
Isabelle will be remembered for her silly spirit, nurturing heart, and loving personality. Her laughter, generosity, and unwavering love for others will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.
Isabelle is preceded in death by her parents, John and Janie Jimenez (Mendez); brothers, Joe and Felipe Jimenez; sisters, Lucy Palomino and Lupe Castor; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chancey and Ermalinda Guillen, brothers-in-law, Luterio Castor and Luis Gutierrez; and sister-in-law, Angela Guillen.
