Iris Peiser

alignjustifyLorean Peiser, 89 of Temple, passed away Monday, January 19, 2009 in a local hospital. Visitation will be 6:00pm-8:00pm Tuesday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. A private graveside service will be held at Taylor City Cemetery.

alignjustifyIris Lorean Peiser was born March 13, 1919 to Hayden and Mary M. Shafer Griggs in Portland, Texas. She graduated from Florence High School in 1937. She married Bobby Peiser on March 11, 1950 in Taylor, Texas. Mrs. Peiser worked as a homemaker for most of her life, but became the first Home Health Aide for the Bell County Health Department. She later worked as a receptionist. She was a member of the Temple Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and was actively involved in the PTA. Iris Lorean Peiser was a member of the First Christian Church in Temple.

alignjustifyShe is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters. BRBRSurvivors include her husband, Bobby Peiser of Temple, sons; Randy Peiser and wife Linda of Temple, and Mike Peiser and wife Bobbie of Norfolk, Virginia, daughter, Sandi Oakley and husband Miles of Temple, 3 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
