Mrs. Irene Blasingame 84, of Troy died Saturday, August 20 in a local nursing home.
Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Monday, August 22 at the Roberts Cemetery in Troy with Chaplain Eric Hammer officiating.
Mrs. Blasingame was born May 22, 1927 in Groesbeck, Tx to the late Jim and Essie Mae Wilson Pelham. She was a housewife and a Methodist. She is preceded in death by her first husband Robert L. Sammons, Sr and second husband Walter Blasingame.
She is survived by her sons: Robert Lee Sammons of Troy and Barry Craig Sammons of Austin and daughter Sandra Sammons Vargas of Temple, sister, Marie Hardy of Grapevine, TX and 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 pm Sunday, August 21 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple
