Imogean Schlieper

Services for Imogean Smith Schlieper, 94 of Temple will be held at 11am on Sunday, March 11 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

Ms. Imogean Schlieper died on Friday, March 2, 2018 at a local hospital.

Imogean Smith Schlieper was born on October 28, 1923 to Arthur Smith and Georgia Willie Allen Smith in Daingerfield, Texas. Known affectionately as "MaMaw" to her adoring
grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Imogean graduated from high school and completed her certification as an LVN. She retired from Sante Fe
Hospital in Temple. She married Charles Robert Schlieper, Sr. on April 4, 1972. Imogean enjoyed the simple things in life to include her family, walking with her friends at the mall,
and eating at Piccadilly or the Blue Bonnet Café. She was a giving woman and cared for everyone.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and a sister.

Survivors include her two daughters, Jeanette Wardwell, Barbara Patton and husband Willis, along with six grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and three
great great-grandchildren.

A special thank you to the staff of the STICU and STC floors at Scott and White Hospital for their compassionate care.

Visitation will be held before the service from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the funeral home.
