Hermino Alvaerz, Sr

Hermino G. Alvarez, Sr. 68, of Temple, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2013 at his residence. Services will be on Saturday February 9, 2013 at 10 am at Potters House Christian Church in Temple, with Pastor Marvin Wells officiating.
Hermino was born in Lockhart, Texas on April 25, 1944 to Augustine and Lucina Gutierrez Alvarez. He worked and retired from Texas Hydraulics, also worked for American Desk and Artco Bell. His Wife Marie Alvarez preceded him in death in November of 2007.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Hermino is survived by 4 daughters Virginia Partida of Temple, Rose Mary Duran of Temple,Linda Mendoza of Troy, Jeanette Brumet of Temple, 3 sons Hermino Alvarez, Jr, of Temple, Eddie Alvarez of Temple, Albert Alvarez of San Antonio, 1 sister, Refugio Contreras of Lockhart, 1 brother Nasario Alvarez of Lockhart, 25 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a host of dear friends.
A visitation will be Friday, February 8, 2013 from 88pm, with a wake starting at 7pm at HarperTalasek Funeral Home Temple.
