Henry Schindler

Mr. Henry J. Schindler, 58 of Temple, died Friday, March 20, 2009 in a Temple hospital.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday at Temple Bible Church with Rev. Gary DeSalvo and Rev. Robert Dean officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00pm at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Mr. Schindler was born to Charles Frank Schindler and Julia Sopchak Schindler in Houston. He married Margaret Margo Broussard in Houston on June 3, 1972. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Viet Nam War. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a graphic artist. Mr. Schindler had been a resident of Temple for the past 4 years, moving here from Missouri City. He worked part time at Sams Club in Temple. He was a member of Temple Bible Church.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Margo Schindler of Temple; one son, Jeremy Schindler of Temple; two daughters, Jennifer Schindler of Austin and Katie Schindler of Temple; one brother, Julius Schindler of Houston; four sisters, Florence Schumann of Manville, Beverly Self of Santa Fe, Charlene Droch of Gatesville and Louise Kirkland of Bryan; and two grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Camp Peniel Campership Fund, 6716 East FM 1431, marble Falls, Texas 78654.

Visitation will be 6-8PM Monday at Harper Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. BRBRHarper Talasek Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
