Henley Neal

Services for Henley F. "Bootsie" Neal, 80, of Rogers will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 23 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Pastor Billy Ray Crow officiating. Burial will follow in Reed's Lake Cemetery near Heidenheimer.

Mr. Neal passed away Thursday, October 19, at a local hospital.

Henley "Bootsie" Neal was born December 13, 1936 in Cameron, Texas to Fred Foster Neal and Ora Pearl Rigsby Neal. He lived most of his life in Rogers, and married Sylvia Louise Wyly on October 16, 1958. Bootsie retired from the maintenance department of Temple College in 1999. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Mr. Neal was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife, of Rogers; a son, David Neal of Morgan's Point; two daughters, Cindy Vance of Little River and Diane New of Little River; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m. Sunday, October 22, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Reed's Lake Cemetery Association, 14081 Reed's Lake Loop, Rogers, Texas 76569.

Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
