Helen White

Mrs. Helen J. White, 91, of Temple, died Sunday, May 18, 2008 in a local nursing center.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Rev. Walter Matous officiating. Burial will be in Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.

Mrs. White was born to George and Emma Siepert Oswald in Bosque County, Texas on April 13, 1917. She married Glenn W. White in Clifton on December 26, 1934. She had been a resident of Temple since 1944. Mrs. White was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Temple.

Survivors include two sons, George White and Bobby White, both of Temple; one daughter, Glenda Hesse of Temple; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Ronnie White, and one brother, Alton Oswald.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
