Helen Gibson

Services for Helen Louise Scoggins Gibson, 89, will be Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 3 pm at Greathouse Cemetery with Rev. Jack Riley officiating. Mrs. Gibson died Friday April 10, at Baylor Scott and White Hospital. She was born April 27, 1925 on a farm in Delta County near Pecan Gap, TX to Arthur Monroe and Ollie Mae Tevis Scoggins.
On May 31, 1947, she married David Murray Gibson of Paris, Tx and in 1950, they moved to Temple, Tx. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband on July 2, 1999 and a granddaughter Debra Rene Gibson on January 23, 2013.
Survivors include a brother, Harry Scoggins of Detroit, TX, a sister, Thelma Scoggins Roberson of Wylie; 4 sons, Donald M. Gibson and wife Diedre of Albany, GA; John M. Gibson and wife Judy of Weatherford, TX; David M. (Mike) Gibson of Temple; Randall M. Gibson and wife Mary of Temple; a daughter, Patricia Gibson Hayes and husband Vernon of Rolla, MO; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
