Harry Snow

Services for Harry Cecil Snow, 97, of Temple will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 8 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple with Dr. Tom Henderson and the Reverend Billy Koinm officiating. Burial will be in Holland Cemetery.

Mr. Snow was born in Cresent, Oklahoma to Doc and Faye Smith Franklin. He married Luela McCray on July 24, 1942 in Temple, Texas. He was a roofer by trade and worked for Stahr and Gregory Roofing for many years before starting his own company, the HC Snow Roofing Company. He was a member of the Roofers Union for over 50 years and was a charter member of Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of Temple a son, Lynn Snow of Denton a daughter, Lou Anne Snow of Temple and two grandchildren, Candace Lavender and Brent Brinzo. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ellen Rushing.

Visitation is from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. Sunday, July 7 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.
