Harold Bell

Memorial services for Harold Dennis Bell, 74,of Temple will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Johnny Knight officiating. Interment of ashes will be Friday, December 9 at the Central Texas State Veteran's Cemetery in Killeen.

Mr. Bell went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, December 2, 2016.

Harold Dennis Bell was born to W.T. and Clara (Watson) Bell on December 5, 1941 in Hugo, Oklahoma. He attended school in Coleman, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the 101st Air Borne Division from 1961 to 1964. He later graduated from Oral Roberts University Ministry Training & Development Institute and became an ordained minister. Mr. Bell was the Pastor of World Harvest Church for 20 years. He was employed by Santa Fe Railroad (BNSF) from 1966-2004 as a brakeman/conductor. He was retired. He was a member of the United Transportation Union, the International Charismatic Bible Ministries, the Full Gospel Fellowship of Churches and Ministers International. He married his wife of 51 years, Sandra Arlene (Jackson) Bell, May 20, 1965 in Coleman, TX. They moved to Temple, TX in February 1966.

He was preceded in death by his parents W. T. & Clara Bell; a sister, Bonnie Ruth Bell; a brother, John Bell; a son, Dennis W. Bell; and a granddaughter, Allison Bell.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; a son, William A. Bell; ten grandchildren, Brandy Bell York of Belton, TX, Rebekkah Mallicoat of Austin, TX, Lissa Jackson, William Harold Bell of Austin, TX, Caitlyn Eckstein of Phoenix, AZ, Madelyn Etchison of Waco, TX, Dallas, Dallas Bell of Robinson, TX, Garrett Files of Temple, TX, Wyatt Bell of Walnut Grove, TX, & Gracie Bell of Springfield, MO; five great-grandchildren; brothers, William Douglas Bell of Abilene, Lewis Bell of Coleman, TX, Truman Bell of Grandbury, TX; and sisters Dorothy Brown of Orlando, FL, Mary Sue Knight of Joshua, TX, and Barbara Floyd of Tyler, TX.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Harold's memory may be made to Feed the Children, 333 N. Meridian, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73107.
