H.A. Johnson

Services for Hubert A. Johnson, 84, of Temple will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 26, at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple. Burial will follow in North Elm Cemetery.

Mr. Johnson passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at his residence.

He was born January 20, 1929, to Roy and Daisy Locke Johnson in Milam County, Texas. He married Cynthia Ann Young on January 21, 1978, in Belton, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents one son, James Johnson, Sr. two sisters, Charlotte Carroll and Ruth Hartley two brothers, Ben Johnson and Brooks Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy, of Temple three daughters, Nancy Johnson of Hillsboro, Alecia Newharth of Belton, and DeAzia Posey of Temple one sister, Ellen Cook of Alexandria, Louisiana 10 grandchildren, 11 greatgrandchildren, and 2 greatgreatgrandchildren.

Visitation will be 6 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
