Guadalupe Suarez

Mr. Guadalupe Lupe Suarez, 58, of Temple, died Wednesday, August 12, 2009 in a Temple hospital.

Funeral mass will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple with Father Tom Chamberlain officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. Friday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

Mr. Suarez was born to Fernando and Maria Benavidez Suarez in Rosebud on April 24, 1951. He had been a resident of Temple most of his life. He married Linda Garcia in Temple on April 24, 1992. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Suarez of Temple; father, Fernando Suarez of Temple; one stepson, Joseph Garcia of Troy; two stepdaughters, Rebecca Meza of Conroe and Wanda Abilez of Eddy; two sisters, Virginia Suarez and Rosa Chavez, both of Temple; twelve grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Suarez on August 28, 2008.

Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
