Gloria Jean Reyes

Gloria Jean Reyes, age 66 of Temple, passed from this life Saturday, April 20, 2024, in Killeen. Services will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with a visitation starting at 3 pm and memorial service immediately following at 5 pm.

Gloria was born on March 19, 1958, to Raymond and Frances Lerma in Temple, Texas. She was a very social person who liked to be admired and enjoyed wearing fashionable, beautiful jewelry, and clothes. Gloria was also a plant enthusiast and enjoyed spending her time in her gardens, talking to her plants. She loved listening to music, dancing, and spending time surrounded by her loved ones, especially her grandchildren. Gloria had a great sense of humor and was always telling jokes and laughing. Her favorite color was purple. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Frances Lerma; brother, Raymond Lerma, Jr.; and sisters, Dolores Lomeli, and Lorretta Lerma.

Survivors include her loving husband, Roberto Maldonado Reyes, Sr.; sisters, Mary Atyeo, Juanita Black, and Linda Lerma; sons, Robert Reyes, Jr., Shaun Lerma Reyes, and Joshua Reyes; daughters, Velvet Reyes, and Crystal Renee Arjon; and grandchildren, Victoria Reyes, Johnny Reyes, Jacob Reyes, Jedidiah Reyes, John Gutierrez III, Francesca Reyes, Anissa Gutierrez, Jordan Gutierrez, Mariah Gutierrez, Robert Reyes III, Melena Reyes, Joshua Reyes, Jr., Mercedes Reyes, Lanissa Reyes, Elijah Reyes, Chloe Reyes, Catalina Reyes, Madilyn Reyes, Alexis Coilazo, Savannah Emiliano, Jaden Reyes, and Valentina Reyes.
