Glen Evans, Jr.

Glen Goose Evans, Jr., 67, of Temple, died Thursday, July 31, 2008 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Rev. Randy Holtzclaw and Rev. Mitch Ford officiating. Burial will follow in Moffat Cemetery.

Mr. Evans was born to G.E. Evans, Sr. and Ruby Lee Walters Evans in Coryell County, Texas on July 28, 1941. He was a resident of Rockdale and Elgin most of his life. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Evans was self-employed as a car wholesaler.

Survivors include one son, Brian Keith Evans of New Port Richey, Florida; one daughter, Crystal Lynn Evans Owen of Rockdale; one sister, Dianne Dalton of Temple; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to VistaCare Hospice, 2626-B South 37th Street, Temple, Texas 76504.
