Gilbert Foster

Gilbert V. Foster, age 74, died Sunday, July 7, 2013 in Temple, Texas. Services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at the HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple. Burial will follow in the North Belton Cemetery.

He was born August 18, 1938 in Rogers, Texas to Jack and Hazal Bearden Foster. He retired from the Texas Department of Transportation after 34 years of service, was a member of the Singles Club for 20 years, and was a member of the NRA.

He was preceded in death by his parents two brothers, Bobby and Raymond Foster and two sisters, Nell Reveal and Mildred McIntosh.

He is survived by his two daughters, Terenda Foster and Pamela Patterson of Eddy, Texas nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Visitation is from 68 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.
