Geraldine Fincher Glass, age 99, of Temple, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026. She was born on February 19, 1927, in Temple, Texas, to Leslie Newton Fincher and Alton Rummel Fincher.

A woman of remarkable intelligence and determination, Geraldine graduated as valedictorian from Lott High School in 1944. She carried that same dedication and strength throughout her life, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. Above all, she was known for her kindness, resilience, and unwavering love for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Mildred Monroe; her beloved husband, Ray Glass; her daughter, Patricia Luther; her son, Robert Ray Glass; her granddaughter, Kristina Dianne Hagler; and her grandson, James Elam III.

Geraldine is survived by her daughters, Sharon Elam and Brenda Hagler, son-in-law, Glenn Hagler, and daughter-in-law Jessie Glass. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Susanne Hayes and husband Robert, Carol Busby and husband Gene, Will Glass and wife Wendy, and Paige Paul and husband Jimmy. She was blessed with nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter, all of whom brought her immense joy.

Geraldine will be remembered for her strong spirit, her deep love for her family, and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind through the generations.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home, 500 W. Barton Avenue, Temple, Texas. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., with interment to follow at Phillips Cemetery in Travis, Texas.
