Georgia Sabedra

Georgia Padedes Sabedra, 78, of Nolanville, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2007 in a local hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Temple, Father Rogers, officiating.

Mrs. Sabedra was born September 9, 1929 in The Grove to Francisco and Juanita Estrada Paderes. She was a homemaker who will be remembered for her homemade tamales and her wonderful cooking.

Mrs. Sabedra is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Delfino Sabedra; son, Delfino Sabedra, Jr.; sisters: Jacqueline Martinez, Anna Tamez and Martha Flores; brothers: Jullian, Paul and Cecil Paderes. Survivors include, son, Benny Sabedra and wife, Marie, of Nolanville; daughter, Anita Granado, of Temple; son, Raul Sabedra, of Temple; son Theodore Sabedra, of Temple; son, Ronnie Sabedra, of Harker Heights; daughter, Mary Frances Tyler and husband, Luke, of Harker Heights; son, Bobby Sabedra, of Harker Heights; sisters: Mary Cardenas, of Gatesville; Angela Record, of Belton; Frances Paderes, of San Antonio; Rosie Soto, of Amarillo; Josephine Paderes, of Pasadena; brothers: Paul Paredes, of Temple; John Paderes, of Killeen, Jesse Paderes, of Temple; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; nephews: Rudy Sabedra and Johnny Sabedra.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 12, 2007 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
