Georgia Pacha Grossman, 80, of Holland, died Friday, November 21, 2008 in a Temple hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 24, 2008 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Father Don Loftin officiating.Visitation will be 5-7:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home, followed by a rosary at 7:00 P.M.

Mrs. Grossman was born to Joseph F. and Julia Tomacek Kaderka in Granger, Texas on March 13, 1928. She was a member of the Holland SPJST, KJZT, and was the first lady elected to the Holland City Council, where she served as Mayor Pro-Tem. She was listed in Who's Who Among American Women.

Survivors include one son, Bill Pacha of Holland; two daughters, Georganna Gommert and Keisha Moore, both of Holland; one sister, Betty Stejanik of Granger; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill I. Pacha and her second husband, Daniel Grossman and one great granddaughter.
