George Moreno

George Lechuga Moreno born on May 18, 1942 in San Angelo, Tx to Casiano Moreno and Pauline Lechuga. He is Preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Jimmy L. Moreno and Ronnie L. Pena, one daughter Betty Olivarez and grandson Santiago Morales. Moreno truly cared about his state and helping people. He showed this by being a member of the VFD of Holland, Texas for 22 years and also a Texas State Guard for 42 years.
Moreno is survived by his wife Dora G. Moreno and children: Mary Reyes Fred Gordon from Troy, Tx Judy Rudy Martinez from Temple, Tx Linda Randy Garcia of Pasadena, Tx Rockey G. Moreno from San Antonio, Tx Rebekah Gilbert Martinez from Taylor, Tx and children from his first marriage George Moreno Jr. Sandra from Corpus Christi, Tx Margie Martinez from Corpus Christi, Tx Esther Martinez from Corpus Christi, Tx, 26 grandchildren, 24 greatgrandchildren. brothers : Manuel L. Teresa Moreno of Nashville, Tn, Robert L. Olivia Moreno of San Jose, Calif, Richard L. Alicia Moreno of Corpus Christi, Tx, Guillermo Diana B. Moreno of San Antonio, Tx and Larry L. Anna Pena of Alice, Tx, one sister, Christina Ace Resendez of Temple, Tx.
A Funeral Service will be 10:00a.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Holland with interment to follow at Holland Cemetery. A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 68pm at Harper Talasek Chapel.
