George Kostohryz

George Edward Kostohryz, 80 of Temple, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2009 in a local hospital. Graveside services will be 2:00pm Wednesday at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with Rev. Ernest Thompson officiating.

George Kostohryz was born March 2, 1929 to Anton and Bertha Piskulay Kostohryz in Cleveland, Ohio. He served our country in the United States Army. In 1954, he married Evelyn Campbell in Temple, Texas. He worked for the City of Temple Street Department for 34 years.

Survivors include: his wife of 55 years, Evelyn Kostohryz of Temple, daughter Jeanie Kostohryz of Temple, Billy Campbell of Belton, and one granddaughter.

Visitation will be 5-8pm Tuesday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. BRBRHarper Talasek Funeral home in Temple is in charge of the arrangements.
