Genoveva Donoso

Mrs. Genoveva Donoso, 95, of Temple, died Saturday, November 8, 2008 at her son's residence in Temple.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple with Father Tom Chamberlain officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. Monday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

Mrs. Donoso was born to Jesus and Dolores Fuentes Valerio in Uvalde, Texas on June 13, 1913. She had been a resident of Temple most of her life. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, where she was also a Guadalupana.

Survivors include six sons, Raymond Donoso of Temple, Harold Donoso of Temple, Roy Donoso of Temple, John Donoso of Belton, Paul Donoso of Temple and Vidal Donoso of Temple; four daughters, Adelina Casillas of Temple, Mickie Donoso of Temple, Adelia Hernandez of Temple and Gloria Garcia of San Antonio; thirty-nine grandchildren; and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Miguel Donoso in 1954.
