Fredrick Lazarus

Fredrick Ralph Lazarus, 83, of Temple passed away Friday, December 15, 2011 in Waco.
He was born on October 1, 1928 in Gibsland, LA, to P.H. and Kate Helfin Lazarus. He has lived in the community since 2003. He married Ima Joyce Jones in Dallas, Texas. He has been a member of the First Baptist Church of Arlington since 1968.

Mr. Lazarus joined the Army Air Force on January 22, 1946 in Dallas, Texas and retired on October 20, 1948 in Ft. Lawton, WA. Mr. Lazarus was an Inspector for General Motors for 34 years in Arlington, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 9 brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Ima Joyce Lazarus of Temple Sons Fred Lazarus and wife Sherril of San Angelo Ron Lazarus and wife Beth of MayPearl and David Lazarus and wife Kim of Killeen, Grandchildren Kathy of MayPearl, Lindsay of Arlington and Mary grandson Patrick of Roanoke.

Visitation will be Monday, December 19, 2011 from 9:00 11:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at HarperTalasek Funeral Home, Chapel. A private burial will follow at the Central Texas Veterans Cemetery.
