Frances "France" Lee Guerra

Frances “France” Lee Guerra, age 62 of Temple, passed from this life Monday, August 7, 2023, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

France was born on November 16, 1960, to Donald Manriquez and Rachel Fimbres in Newhall, California. She married David Guerra. She retired from Temple I.S.D. after 24 years of service, where she was lovingly known as “Mrs. Frances”. France made lots of memories fishing with her husband and shooting pool. She had a green thumb and liked gardening. France loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great grandson. She enjoyed spending time at their extracurricular activities and watching them play sports. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

France is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Leon Sr. and Rachel Fimbres; and brothers, Joe Velasquez, and Allen Leon.

Survivors include husband, David Guerra; son, Angel Aguilan; daughters, Christina Guerra, Elizabeth Guerra, Andria Guerra, and Alexandria Guerra; brothers, Victor Romero, Steve Manriquez, John Manriquez, Albert Leon, and Tim Frost; sisters, Nancy Romero, Della Romero, Lydia Romero, and Robin Leon; grandchildren, Mariah and Jacob Leonard, Brooke Aguilar, Kristen Aguilar, Tayler Guerra, Arian Garcia, Leoniso Garcia III, Olivia Serrano, Aurora Serrano, Asher Hudson, Enzo Hudson, Benjamin Garcia, Nichole Garcia, Alana Thornton, Aaron Thornton, Andreas Guerra-Thornton, Aubrianna Guerra-Thornton, Cheno Marquez, Peyton Marquez, Jayden Carrion, Brayden Guerra, Greyson Fish and Myles Fish; and great grandson, King Garcia.

A time of visitation will be held from 5-7 pm with a rosary recited at 6pm Friday, August 11, 2023, at the funeral home.
