Frances Antunes

Frances M. Antunes, 86 of Belton, passed away April 12, 2010 at her residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Temple with Father Ranjan Cletus officiating. Burial will follow in Bellwood Memorial park in Temple.

Frances Antunes was born October 26, 1923 to John and Frances Kubala Zurovets in Granger, Texas. She was married to John Antunes in Temple, Texas. She worked as a housewife. Mrs. Antunes was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Temple. She was also a member of St. Marys Ladies Altar Society.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter, Rebecca Deaver, brothers Johnnie Zurovets, Frank Zurovets and Albert Zurovets, and sister, Mary Naizer.

Survivors include: sons Greg Antunes and wife Barbara of Belton, Garry Antunes and wife Terri of Henderson, and Phil Antunes and wife Beckie of Temple, daughter, Cindy Cantrell and husband Rob of Richardson, brother, Eleck Zurovets of Temple, sister, Sybil Mitchell of Granger, 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Marys Catholic Church, 1018 S. 7th Street, Temple, Texas 76504.

Visitation will be 68pm Tuesday at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple. Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm.
