Frances Allen

Frances Gertrude Allen, 93, of New Braunfels died Wednesday at a nursing center in New Braunfels. Visitation will be 121 p.m., Saturday with funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple. Reverend Cox will officiate and burial will be in Greathouse Cemetery.

Mrs. Allen was born May 20, 1916 to Walter Lee and Dora Lender Killion Moore in Electra, Texas. She married James Floyd Allen on October 8, 1932 in Little River. She was a homemaker and also worked as a nurses aide for Scott White. Mrs. Allen was a member of the Assembly of God Church in New Braunfels.

She is preceded in death by her husband, sons Jessie Lee Allen, Floyd D. Allen and Bobby C. Allen, brothers Walter L. Moore and J. W. Moore.

She is survived by children Darrell E. Allen of Troy, James Richard Allen of Lometa, Delbert L. Allen of Lubbock, Reba K. Cowles and Sheryl Zickefoose of Canyon Lake, and Terry L. Allen, sister Georgia Shelby of the Dallas area and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and greatgreat grandchildren.
