Forrest Lawson

Forrest L. Lawson, 86, passed away on July 26, 2013. He was predeceased by his wife of 44 years, Rose Lawson, his parents, a sister, and two brothers. His is survived by his beloved dog, Bubba his daughter, Sandra Stallings his best friends, Thomas and Gloria Mungia and their 5 children his brother, Edward Lawson and his special niece, Betty Carr. He has 3 grandchildren, 9 greatgrandchildren, 7 greatgreat grandchildren, 3 nieces and 3 nephews.

Forrest served in the United States Army during World War II. He worked as a fireman and in construction. He is loved by all and will be deeply missed.

The viewing will be held 68 p.m. on July 30, 2013, at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple, Texas. His funeral mass will be held at St. Marys Catholic Church located on 1018 S. 7th St. in Temple at 10 a.m. on July 31, followed by a procession to the Greathouse Cemetery.

A reception will follow at Mungias BarBQue Restaurant, 6095 Heidenheimer Road.
