Flora Hildegarde Hinze Huber, 91, passed away January 22, 2009 at a Temple nursing home. Services will be 2:00pm Saturday, January 24 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple, with Pastor Jeff Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at the Cego Cemetery.
Flora was born May 22, 1917, to Emil and Mollie Frosch Hinze. She married Albert Huber on June 19, 1938. He preceded her in death in 2004. Their daughter, Joyce Foulds also preceded her in 2005.
Flora is survived by 2 sons, Thomas Huber and wife Doris of Temple, and Ralph Huber and wife Millie of San Antonio. Grandchildren are Charles Foulds of Houston, Mollie Huber of Bay City, Sam Huber and wife Marketa of Austin, Laura Huber Williams and husband Keith of Troy, Beth Huber Shinn and husband Jeff of Troy, Ruth Huber Jordan and husband Taylor of San Antonio, and Leah Huber of San Angelo. Also 3 great grandchildren, Emily and Grant Williams of Troy and Anna Huber of Austin survive. Sister-in-law Beverly Hinze of Grapevine, brothers-in-law Paul Huber of Paris, Texas, and Ernest Huber of Waco survive along with many nieces and nephews.
Flora was a homemaker who loved cooking and sewing. She also loved playing the piano which she did on many occasions for her church, St. Pauls United Church of Christ at Cego. Her friendly greeting and beautiful smile will be missed. BRBR
