Faustino Arguelles

Services for Faustino Arguelles, 87, of Temple will be 10 am Friday December 11, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Rafael Padilla Officiating. Interment will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park.
Faustino Arguelles passed away on Sunday December 6th at his home.
Faustino was born on April 15, 1928 to Ascension Arguelles and Ambrosia Villareal Arguelles in Yorktown, Texas. He married Elisa Garcia and they were blessed with five children. Faustino was a lifelong resident of Temple and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, the Cursillo Movement, and Santo Nombre. He retired from American Desk. Faustino enjoyed fishing, repairing small machines; playing pool, dominoes, and cards; and watching his grandchildren play ball.
Preceded in death are his parents; wife; son, Raul Arguelles; five brothers, Sirildo Arguellez, Ernesto Arguellez, Porfirio Arguellez, Jesus Arguellez, and Paublo Arguellez; sisters, Victoria Arguellez and Rafaela Arguellez.
Survivors include three sons, Gustino Arguelles and wife Olivia; Alfredo Arguelles and wife Maria; Daniel Arguelles and wife Patricia; daughter, Alicia Naranjo and husband Pedro, Jr.; twelve grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation service will be at the funeral home Thursday, December 10 from 6 - 8 pm with Rosary recited at 7 with Deacon Joe Vela officiating.
