Faustina Fuentes

Mrs. Faustina Tina Fuentes, 85, of Temple, died Thursday, April 9, 2009 in a Temple hospital.

Funeral mass will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple with Father Florencio Rod-riguez, T.O.R., officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple.

Mrs. Fuentes was born to Theodore and Ruby Gonzales Salas in Oakwood, Texas on June 1, 1923. She had been a resident of Temple since 1957. She married Louis P. Fuentes in Bremond on April 15, 1950. Prior to her retirement, she was employed with American Desk Manufacturing in Temple. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Louis P. Fuentes of Temple; one son, Ralph Fuentes of Temple; three daughters, Norberta Gonzales of Brookeland, Teresa Carver of Louisville, Kentucky and Isabel Eaton of Temple; two sisters, Mary Rivera of Marlin and Jane Trevino of Temple; eight grandchildren; and one great grandson. She was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. Sunday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
