Evelyn Coufal

Evelyn A. Coufal, 95, of Temple, passed away Thursday, November 22, at a local care facility. Funeral Services will be held at 10 am Tuesday, November 27 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Burial will follow at Seaton Cemetery.

Evelyn was born February 17, 1923 to Theodore and Emilie Kech Moeller in Lott, Texas. She and her husband, Robert Frank Coufal built a beautiful life for themselves, focusing on her children and home. She delighted in baking and enjoyed arts and crafts. She was a loving and very involved mother and was most happy when surrounded by family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Evelyn was a proud seamstress for over 50 years.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Robert; son, William "Billy" Coufal; 6 brothers and 14 sisters.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her sons, Robert L. Coufal, Larry W. Coufal, Garry L. Coufal, Kenny Coufal, Glenn Coufal; daughter, Betty Baird; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Monday, November 26 at the funeral home.
