Evangelina Gracia

Evangelina Reyes Gracia, age 87 of Temple, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2020 at a local nursing facility. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

Evangelina was born on November 22, 1932 to Alejandro and Maria de ReFugio Ortiz in Mexico. She was a sweet and always caring person. She would always say that she was never alone because she knew that Jesus was always with her. She loved her family dearly and loved to make people laugh.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and a very special son-in-law, Daniel Blanco.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her son, Guillermo R. Gracia and spouse, Aurora; daughter, Ninfa G. Rodriguez; son, Ernesto R. Gracia and spouse, Sherri; daughter, Maria Elena Martinez and spouse, Juan; son, Ricardo Gracia and spouse, Berta; daughter, Evangelina Blanco; son, Luis Antonio Gracia and spouse, Senada; 26 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; ex son-in-law, George Rodriguez; and ex daughter-in-law, Elva Gracia. She loved her family so dearly and she will be greatly missed by so many.

A time of visitation will be held from 4 – 6 pm Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
