Ethel Scogsburg

Ethel Mae Scogsburg, 89 of Lexington, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011 in a Sugarland hospital. Graveside services will be 11:00am Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Hillcrest Cemetery with Rev. Roy Parker officiating.

Ethel Scogsburg was born July 13, 1921 in Temple, Texas. During World War II, she worked for Hughes Aircraft. She also worked as a homemaker. Mrs. Scogsburg was a Baptist.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands John Pease and Bill Scogsburg, and son, Ralph McAllister.

Survivors include: daughters Donna Jones of Rosenberg, and Rosemary McCombs of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
