Services for Ernie Locklin, 86 will be on Friday, October 16th at Harper Talasek Funeral Home in Temple at 10:00am with Rev. Elwyn Johnston officiating.
She was born on January 24, 1929 in Wichita Falls, TX to Samuel and Grace Andrews and passed away on October 13, 2015 at Scott & White Hospital.
She married J.L. Locklin on May 12, 1951. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God in Temple for more than 58 years. One of her greatest joys was watching the Temple Wildcats play football. She very seldom missed a game.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son, Dennis Locklin, grandson, Wyatt Locklin, parents and 12 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by a son, Gary & wife Charlotte Locklin, daughter, Cheryl & husband Charles Dixon all of Temple, 9 Grandchildren, 11 Great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, Dennie & wife Charlis Andrews of Odessa, TX, Harold and wife Betsy Andrews of Lubbock, TX.
Visitation will be from 5-7pm Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to Bethel Assembly of God Building Fund, 22621 S.E. H.K. Dodgen Loop, Temple, TX 76502.
