Ernesto Rios

Mr. Ernesto G. Rios, 64, of Temple, died Tuesday, February 3, 2009 in a Temple hospital.

Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 6, 2009 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple with Father Tom Chamberlain officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

Mr. Rios was born to Joe and Minnie Garcia Rios in Uvalde, Texas on January 21, 1945. He had been a resident of Temple most of his life. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple.

Survivors include his mother, Minnie G. Rios of Temple; two brothers, C. G. Rios of Temple and Tony G. Rios of Troy; and two sisters, Matilda R. Vriseno and Mary Rios-Saunders, both of Temple. He was preceded in death by his father.
