Erna Bunte

Erna Alma Bunte, 78, of Temple, died Saturday, January 10, 2009 in a Temple hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Rev. Joe Broadway officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple.

Mrs. Bunte was born to Herbert and Alma Kriegel Miller in Copperas Cove on May 10, 1930. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a sales clerk. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Temple. She had been a resident of Temple for the past 30 years.

Survivors include one son, Allan E. Bunte of Duncanville; one daughter, Patsy Garrett of Rosebud; two brothers, Arthur Miller of Midland and Harold Miller of Dublin; three sisters, Agnes Haverland of Elgin, Rosie Fritz of Temple and Loreth Jackson of Troy; and four grandchildren.
