Erik Aguilar

Erik Ray Aguilar, 22, of Temple died Saturday, March 15. He was born February 21, 1986 to Christopher Louis and Ruby Davila Aguilar in Temple. He has lived in this area all of his life. He was a member of Church of Esperanza Viva and worked as wait staff at Shogun Restaurant.

Mr. Aguilar is survived by his mother and step-father, Ruby Aguilar and Jose Lara of Temple; father and step mother, Christopher and Olivia Aguilar of Temple; children, Erik Ray Aguilar, Jr., Jeremiah Aguilar, and Katalina Aguilar of Temple; 3 brothers, Anthony Aguilar, Christopher Aguilar and Victor Olivera of Temple; 2 sisters, Krystal Aguilar and Ericka Aguilar, of Temple; grandparents, Connie Moeller , of Temple, Able Palomo of Temple and Louis Aguilar, of Moody.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. with a service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 19 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Carlos Nunez officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
