Erica Vesely

Erica Lynn Vesely, 45, of Temple, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at her home in Temple. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, August 25 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Pastor Jay Thomas officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Friday, August 24 at the funeral home.

Erica was born November 6, 1972 to Larry Allen Herder and Debra Lynn Lutton in Casper, Wyoming. She attended school at Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown, Texas. She married Ray Vesely on June 8, 1991. Erica was a receptionist at J.C. Penney Salon; and absolutely loved cats. She had a huge heart, with many friends she treated as family.

Erica was preceded in death by her mother, Debbi Tevay; and mother-in-law, Norma Vesely.

Those left to honor her memory are her husband of 27 years, Ray Vesely; son, Anthony Vesely; brother, Robert Tevay; sisters, Tracy Hathcoat, and Bobbi Tevay; and best friend, Melissa Labaj.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Erica Vesely Fund at Texell Credit Union, 3314 South 31st Street, Temple, TX 76502.

Honorary pallbearers will be Alan Labaj and Keith Vesely.

Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
