alignjustifyEmily Georgia May, 83 of Temple, passed away Thursday, August 14th, 2008 at a local nursing facility. Visitation will be 6-8pm Friday at the funeral home. Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be 10:00am Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Cyclone. BRBREmily Georgia May was born April 24, 1925 to Joe and Mary Mayer Macek in Red Ranger, Texas. She was married to William H. May on November 23, 1946. Emily worked all of her life as a homemaker. She was a member of the SPJST Lodge 24, and also a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Temple. BRBRShe is preceded in death by her husband, William May, and brother, Joe G. Macek.BRBRSurvivors include daughter, Marilyn Herring and husband Johnny of Temple; and 12 nieces and nephews.
