Eloisa Donoso

Eloisa Donoso, age 81 of Temple, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Thursday, July 25, 2024, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Temple. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

 Eloisa was born on May 18, 1943, to Crispin and Julia Ramirez in Alice, Texas. She married Raul Donoso on May 13, 1961. Eloisa was a member of Saint Mary’s Catholic Church. She loved spending time with family and preparing Sunday meals to bring family together. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to bingo. Eloisa never met a stranger. She was kind, compassionate, and giving to others. She met the love of her life, Raul Donoso and they were blessed with 63 years of marriage and serving our Lord, Jesus Christ. She will forever be his “Reina.”

 Eloisa is preceded in death by her parents, Crispin and Julia Ramirez; three brothers; and two sisters.

 Survivors include her husband, Raul Donoso; three brothers; four sisters; six daughters, Angie and Oscar Martinez, Diana and Daniel Vasquez, Ernestine and Paul Matamoros, Cecilia and TJ Cruz, Nancy and George Garcia, and Amy and Ryan Perez; 17 grandchildren; two step grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and two step great grandchildren.

 A time of visitation will be held from 5-7 pm with a Holy Rosary recited at 6 pm Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
