Elick Zurovetz

Mr. Elick Elias John Zurovetz, 83, of Temple died Thursday, March 29, 2012 in a local continuing care health facility.
A Mass of Christian Burial is to be held Wednesday 10am April 4, 2012 at St, Mary Catholic Church in Temple, Texas. Interment will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park.
He was born August 28, 1928 to John Zurovetz and Francis Kubala. Elias served his country in the U.S Army. He later married Gertrude Zett Zurovetz. Elias worked for Allied Fence for a number of years and later retired from the Veterans Administration.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude Zett Zurovetz parents, John and Francis Zurovetz sisters, Mary Naizar and Frances Antunes and brothers, Albert Zurovetz, Frank Zurovetz, and Johnny Zurovetz.
He is survived by his sister Sybil Mitchell of Granger, Texas and Daughters Carol Brooks and Cheryl Vanecek both of Temple, Texas Seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday April 3, 2012 from 57pm with a rosary at 7 pm
