Eddie Grimland

Services for Eddie Grimland, 86, of Temple, will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 10, at St. Olaf's Rock Church in Cranfills Gap with Pastor Bruce Mercer officiating. Burial will follow in St. Olaf's Cemetery.

Mrs. Grimland passed away Wednesday, July 5, in Troy.

Eddie Grimland was born April 21, 1931 near Mims Chapel, Texas to Lester Bohannon and Addie Belle Doyle Bohannon. She lived in the Temple and Troy area for over fifty-two years, and volunteered at Scott and White Santa Fe, Scott and White, and Hospice for over thirty years. She was a lifelong caretaker and enjoyed staying busy and being involved in her community.

Mrs. Grimland was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Bruce Grimland.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd Grimland; daughters, Tracy Moore and Linda Hesseltine and husband, Albert; a sister, Norma Cole; seven grandchildren, Brittany Grimland, Randall Moore, Eddie Hesseltine, Michael Hesseltine, Darrell Hesseltine, and Robert Hesseltine; seventeen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2 - 4 p.m. Sunday, July 9, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
