Eddie Cashion

Eddie Steven Cashion, 52, of Temple, died Sunday, February 15, 2009 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple with Rev. Roy Carpenter officiating.

Mr. Cashion was born to Jay W. and Dorothy Nell Haynes Cashion in Fort Worth on May 9, 1956. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He married Janna Carpenter in July 1984. He received his BSS from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls and his MS from U.T.- Arlington. He was a field supervisor for Tarleton State University and a member of the National Association of Social Workers. He was a member of Oenaville Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Janna Cashion of Temple; mother, Dorothy Smith of Fort Worth; one son, Eddie Cashion, Jr. of San Diego, California; two daughters, Candice White of Aubrey and Michaela Cashion of Temple; three brothers, John Cashion of Joshua, James Cashion of Austin and Tommy Cashion of Missouri; one sister, Linda Harris of Saginaw; and one grandson.
