Douglas E. Davidson, 57, of Moody, died Friday, May 2, 2008 in a Temple hospital.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at S.S. St. Cyril Methodius Catholic Church in Granger with Father Hilario Guajardo and Father Joseph Nisari officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Granger. Visitation will be Monday, May 5, 2008 from 5-7 P.M. with Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M..

Mr. Davidson was born May 16, 1950 in Taylor to Elmo and Edith Machacek Davidson. He attended school in Granger and graduated from Granger High School. He was retired from Wilson Art, where he was a press operator for many years. He loved gardening and relaxing. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, and a fabulous PoPo. He was married to Donna Lea Strmiska Davidson, and she preceded him in death on January 19, 2006. He was also preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include two sons, Justin Davidson of Moody and Lucas Davidson and wife, Jennifer of McGregor; mother, Edith Davidson of Moody; and two grandchildren, Ryan Davidson and Hailey Davidson.
