Dottie Morano

Mrs. Dottie Lou Montgomery Morano, 81, of Houston, and formerly of Bell County, died Saturday, June 28, 2008 in Houston.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Belfalls Cemetery with Rev. Sam Callaway officiating.

Mrs. Morano was born to Lee and Mary Weaver Montgomery in Belfalls on September 23, 1926. She was raised and educated in Bell County. She had been a resident of Greenwich, Connecticut for 15 years, and had lived in Houston since 1988. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Houston. Mrs. Morano was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Lawrence Lee Morano and Mark Montgomery Morano, both of Houston; twin daughters, Terri Russell and Sherri Cortissoz-Rush, both of Houston; one sister, Renee Russell of Dallas; six grandchildren; and two great grand-children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Joseph Morano on January 21, 2008.
