Dorothy Isbell

Memorial services for Evelyn Isbell, 66, of Temple will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 6 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Pastor Harlan Haines officiating.

Ms. Isbell went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 24 at Scott & White Hospital in Temple. She passed away unexpectedly after complications from recent surgeries.

Dorothy Evelyn Isbell was born October 19, 1949 in Gatesville, Texas to John Isbell and Dorothy Gilchrest Isbell. She graduated from Temple High School and retired from Scott and White Memorial Hospital as a medical transcriptionist. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Troy. Evelyn loved her grandchildren.

Ms. Isbell was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her son, Thomas Logan; brothers Darrell W. Isbell and Robert Isbell; and granddaughters Emerald Potter, Samantha-Jo Potter, and Treasure Ann Logan.

Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
