Dorothy Hale

Dorothy L. Hale, 77, of Temple, passed away May 31, 2012 in a local hospital. A graveside service will be 10am, Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Tobey Cemetery in Oakalla, Texas under the direction of HarperTalasek Funeral Home, Temple. A visitation will be Monday evening from 6:008:00pm at the funeral home.

Dorothy was born September 8, 1934 in Val Verde, Texas, the daughter of the late John Edward Wells and Ella Myrtis Shed Wells. She was a graduate of Copperas Cove High School. Dorothy trained at the Scott White nurses training school and later worked as a Nurse in intermediate care at the Central Texas Veterans Hospital. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, Temple,Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

Dorothy is survived by daughters Linda Elaine Wooten of Fort Worth, Texas, Kathleen Yvonne Tompkins of Cedar Park, Texas, Michele Renee Homberg of Temple, Texas, sons, John Carroll Parnell of Temple, Texas, William Lee Hale of Temple, Texas,sister, Beatrice Yvonne Duncan of Temple,Texas, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.

Services are under the direction of HarperTalasek Funeral Home, Temple, Texas.
