Doris Santos

Services for Doris Mae Santos, 56, of Temple will be 10:00 am Friday August 7, 2015 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple. Pallbearers will include Michael Poldrack, James Cheater, Scott Shelton, Hunter Poldrack, Joey Gandara, and Zeb Kilber.

Doris Mae Santos died unexpectedly Friday, July 31, 2015 at a local hospital.

Doris was born December 29, 1958 to Roy Bruno Gebhard and Estelle Votaw Gebhard in Elgin, Texas.
She accepted the Lord at an early age and continued to serve Him till the time of her death. Doris looked forward to church services and being able to take her mother with her. She worked as a cosmetologist and later provided child care in her home until 2008. Doris loved to crochet, cook, play the piano, collect china dolls and care for her beloved pets. She enjoyed spending time with her son, Alan, and taking care of her mother.

Preceded in death are her father, Roy Gebhard and brother, Royce Gebhard.

Survivors include her son, Alan Santos of Temple, Texas; mother, Estelle Gebhard of Temple, Texas; sisters, Carolyn Poldrack of Cedar Creek, Texas; and Darline Gomer of Bastrop, Texas; brother, Loyce Gebhard of Smithville, Texas; nieces; nephews, and a host of friends.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 pm Thursday, August 6th at the funeral home.
